SCOUTS
The Scout Group meet in our Church Halls at the following times:
Squirrels: Wednesdays, 6.30pm to 7.30pm
Beavers: Mondays, 6.30pm to 8.00pm
Cubs: Mondays, 6.30pm to 8.00pm
Scouts: Fridays, 7.00pm to 9.00pm

Squirrels: Squirrels are young people between the age of 4 and 6 years old. There is some flexibility in the age range: young people can join from age 4, and can move to Beavers between age 5½ and 6½. It may sometimes be appropriate to extend this flexibility for young people with additional needs.

Beavers: Beaver Scouts are young people aged between 6 and 8 years old. There is core flexibility in the age range: young people can join from age 5½ and can move to Cubs between age 7½ and 8½. It may sometimes be appropriate to extend this flexibility for young people with additional needs.

Cubs:   Cub Scouts are young people aged between 8 and 10 ½. There is core flexibility in the age range: young people can join from age 7½ and can move to Scouts between age 10 and 11. It may sometimes be appropriate to extend this flexibility for young people with additional needs.

Scouts:   The Scout Section is for young people aged between 10½ and 14 years. There is core flexibility in the age range: young people can join from age 10, and can move to Explorers between age 13½ and 14½. It may sometimes be appropriate to extend this flexibility for young people with additional needs.

Explorers:  Explorer Scouts are young people aged between 14 and 18 years old. 6th Ards Sea Scouts don’t currently have an Explorer Unit but we would encourage any young person of the appropriate age to contact and join one of the Local or District Explorer Units.

GUIDES, BROWNIES and RAINBOWS
Meeting this year in our Church Halls at the following times:

Rainbows: Tuesdays, 6.45pm to 7.45pm
Brownies: Tuesdays, 6.45pm to 8.00pm
Guides: Tuesdays, 8.00pm to 9.30pm
