FOOD BANK – Thank you to all who have donated a variety of food stuffs for our local food bank. Your generosity has allowed the food bank to feed 598 adults and 454 children in the period between the start of October 2021 and the end of January 2022. At times the foodbank gets overstocked on items like pasta, cereal and beans, yet have shortages in some particular lines – we would therefore encourage you to follow the Thriving Life Church Compassion Centre Newtownards Facebook page (@TLCCompassionCentre) to see the current needs. We would encourage you to take your donations directly to Thriving Life Church Food Bank which is opened every Tuesday and Friday from 11 am to 1 pm.
