Food bank

500g_banner

All it takes is 500g to show someone how much God loves them.

The next time you are shopping, simply buy 500 grams of non-perishable items and leave them in the containers in the church buildings. These are collected by volunteers from our congregation and delivered to the Foodbank co-ordinated by St Mark’s Parish Church.
The Foodbank supports 20 old age pensioners and over 20 one-parent families. We ask for your continued support for this important cause. Requested items include sugar, tinned meats and fruit, but all other non-perishable foodstuffs are still needed.
Send us an email to find out more: regent.st@btconnect.com

We collect items for the food bank every 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month from 11 am to 12 noon.

Our next collection will be on Tuesday, 25 January.
